Job Title : A&E Nurse
Location : Antrim, Northern Ireland
Pay Rate : £31 - £40 per hour
Responsibilities :
* Provide urgent and emergency nursing care to patients in the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
* Assess and triage patients, prioritizing care based on their condition.
* Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as required.
* Monitor and record vital signs, response to treatments, and overall patient progress.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
* Respond effectively to emergency situations, providing immediate interventions and resuscitation if necessary.
* Communicate with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support.
* Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
* Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
* Stay updated with advancements in emergency nursing practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements :
* Registered Nurse qualification with valid NMC registration.
* Experience working in an Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
* Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
