Take ownership and implement the logistics plan to deliver the Trade Ivy growth & vision:A highly efficient daily fulfilment operation in all aspects of complex builds and QC testingAlways lead your team with a continuous improvement approach in mind.Implement short and mid-term planning for the operation to maximise resources and minimise cost.Exercise cost awareness in all aspects of the operation to contribute to the overall cost goal.Leading and developing peopleSecure long-term competence through succession planning Leading, steering, planning, supporting, coaching, and developing the team with a customer-centric, collaborative, and continuous improvement approach in focus. Key Responsibilities Operational Development Comply with the the Health & Safety manual to protect our people and property and ensure a tidy, safe, and organised Fulfilment Centre.The central point of contact for your team or delegated responsibilities on behalf of Operations.Continuously optimise efficiencies in the Fulfilment Centre to save cost and maximise capacity.Ensure, together with the supply chain manager that weekly builds & home builds are managed to secure continuous availability of key ranges that we offer.Ensure testing of all appropriate products as instructed by QC manager and detailed planning for upcoming deliveries.Ensure continuous availability of powder coaters, be the main point of contact and take ownership of the full process from start to finish.Take responsibility for the fusion process, including engraving, securing availability, meeting lead-times and back to stock components and correctly managing the steps involved.Secure the unfinished plate process ensuring correct stock levels and regular meetings with sales to always be ahead of planned orders. Managing a team All Trade Ivy line Managers/Supervisors are required to ensure that they: Provide leadership and direction to the team to meet business and individual objectives. Communicate effectively always, to ensure the team are on board. Offer mentoring and/or coaching to help develop the skills and expertise of team members. Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings and annual appraisals to monitor and evaluate individual performance, offering constructive feedback and tailored development plans to encourage continuous personal development. Provide day to day line management support including holiday approvals, dealing with absences, etc. Take an active interest in supporting the health and wellbeing of team members. Demonstrate good staff supervision and deal with sometimes difficult or complex situations with the support of HR & Senior Management.Provide feedback and reporting to senior management, regarding the performance, growth and future needs of your team when required. Continuously develop your own leadership and people management skills. Act as a role model to your team with a holistic approach to problem solving and always act in the best interests of Trade Ivy. Working hours8 hours /day but ensuring cover from start to end of each shift. Sources of performance Indicators Turn around time for 3rd party external coating .Build Productivity # of build errors resulting in Replacements / Refunds.All parked orders resolved same day.Budget – Evidence based support to deliver the Operations budget.Holidays managed with a strong forward planning with no impact to the business.
