We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. The successful candidate will work within the Criminal Justice Liaison Team alongside services including prescribing, clinical, outreach, hospital, adult community, and residential rehabilitation. This role helps us improve support for clients within the criminal justice system.
About the role
The role involves working in courts, prisons, and custody suites regularly. You will work with individuals on community sentences involving mental health, drugs, and/or alcohol issues, collaborating with partner agencies to manage these orders. You will also work directly with individuals released from prison and support multi-agency plans.
What we’re looking for
We seek a compassionate, motivated individual with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. Experience in health, social care, criminal justice, or related fields is preferred, or a strong motivation to work in the drug and alcohol sector. Proven customer service experience is essential.
You should be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively within a team to ensure high-quality service delivery. Above all, you should be passionate about our mission and have a positive, engaging attitude towards clients and stakeholders.

* Attained ONC/NVQ Level 3 or willing to achieve within 12 months
* Experience or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or related settings, with partnership experience with statutory and non-statutory agencies
* Experience working with individuals experiencing substance misuse issues
* Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
* Teamwork skills and resilience under pressure
* Good oral and written communication skills
* IT competency
* Flexibility in working hours occasionally
* Willingness to support other With You locations as needed
