Cook/Kitchen Assistant
Little Green Refills Limited is a sustainable low waste shop and Coffee House in the beautiful market town of Abergavenny. We are looking for someone with a passion for creating delicious, seasonal veggie & vegan food, using local ingredients, in our busy coffee house. We are a friendly and supportive team.
We are looking for around 4/5 days a week, to include a Sunday. All shifts are daytime. Start date is as soon as possible.
As our Cook/Kitchen Assistant, you will your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
* Working alongside our existing café manager to maintain our excellent standards and continue to grow our business
* Prepare and serve food orders
* Consistent and excellent customer service skills
* Complete opening and closing procedures.
* Ensuring compliance with all food and beverage regulations (i.e. Environmental Health procedures) at all times.
* Ensuring all prep areas are clean and orderly.
* Ensuring that all dishes are being prepared as per instructions and served as soon as possible.
* Food prep and batch cooking.
* Regular deep cleaning.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential as full training given.

Pay: £12.75-£13.50 per hour
