Maths Teacher

* Job Type: Full-time, Long-term
* April to July
Join our dedicated team at a dynamic secondary school in the Wyre & Fylde area. We are seeking a Full Time Maths Teacher who is passionate about teaching and has a strong commitment to enhancing student learning. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of the Maths curriculum and exceptional classroom management skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 teaching experience would be an advantage.
* Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
* Maintain high standards of teaching and learning in the classroom.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Be proactive in maintaining discipline according to the school policies.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Recent relevant experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 is essential; KS5 is desirable.
* Excellent classroom practitioner with effective classroom management skills.
* Reliable, committed, and capable of working with students to foster learning.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be a good role model.
* Must be punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
