Job Title: Community Resource Officer
Location: Poringland, Norfolk
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday between 08:00 – 18:00
The successful candidate will be required to be flexible to accommodate the needs of the role, including participation in on-call evenings and weekends.

About You
As our Community Resource Officer, you will play a key operational role in coordinating community care services, ensuring that care packages are effectively resourced and delivered without disruption. You will take ownership of day-to-day service delivery, balancing demand, staffing, and priorities in real time.
You will be highly organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple moving parts. With a solutions-focused mindset, you will make informed decisions to maintain service continuity while working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
You will be a strong communicator, able to build effective relationships with internal teams, senior leaders, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information sharing. You will contribute positively to the Community Services leadership team and support a coordinated, high-quality service aligned with our values: Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, and Courage.
Requirements
Apply for our Community Resource Officer role, you will need to be able to:
* Coordinate day-to-day service delivery, ensuring all care packages are staffed and delivered effectively
* Build, manage, and optimise staff rotas in line with service demand
* Respond quickly to changes, resolving staffing gaps and escalating risks where required
* Supervise and coordinate bank staff, ensuring reliability, accountability, and performance
* Manage staff availability and support proactive workforce planning
* Receive, triage, and coordinate referrals, ensuring timely mobilisation of care packages
* Allocate resources effectively based on complexity, location, and staff capability
* Maintain accurate oversight of service delivery and staffing levels in real time
* Communicate clearly with internal teams and stakeholders regarding service capacity, risks, and changes
* Work collaboratively with the Community Services leadership team to support effective and aligned service delivery
