What will I be doing?
You'll keep our Middlesbrough energy recovery plant running safely and efficiently:
1. Inspect and maintain critical equipment such as gearboxes, cranes, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
2. Provide technical support to colleagues across functions and contribute to continuous improvements in plant performance.
What are the requirements?
3. Completed engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent experience) with proven maintenance engineering in process plant, heavy engineering, or similar environments.
4. Qualification to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, plus basic electrical knowledge and welding experience.
5. Hands-on knowledge of equipment including gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulics; steam raising/boiler experience highly advantageous.
