Role Description
This is a full-time on‑site role for a QSHE Manager based in Newport Pagnell. Reporting to the CEO, this role will provide operational leadership across all SHEQ functions for the group, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, industry standards and internal policies. This is a hands‑on role to drive the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental agenda to ensure efficient operations whilst embedding a culture of proactive risk management, staff accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), risk management, and conducting audits.
* Proficiency in Health and Safety regulations and Environmental Management practices.
* Carry out audits at all sites with respect to quality, housekeeping and hygiene and document the findings in the required format to meet the relevant standards.
* Maintain product, systems & audit requirements for BRC Agents & Brokers certification.
* Have and maintain a clear understanding of the Food Contact Regulations for Plastics and operate a Lab testing protocol with the factories, in order to provide a Declaration of Compliance (legal requirement).
* Keep abreast of current health, safety, environmental and food safety legislation to identify, monitor and address trends and emerging risks.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with a focus on compliance and operational excellence.
* Proven experience in a QSHE management role, ideally within a food manufacturing/high‑volume manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in training and promoting a culture of safety and quality among team members.
* Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage cross‑functional teams.
* Understanding of the packaging or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
