A leading organisation in the infrastructure property sector is seeking a highly motivated Agricultural Liaison Officer to join its growing team in the Northeast. This is a confidential search being conducted on behalf of our client, a well-established name in the industry that is committed to building infrastructure that shapes the future.
In this role, you will act as a key interface between the project team, contractors, landowners, and agents, ensuring smooth land access, proactive engagement, and the effective management of on-the-ground agricultural considerations throughout major infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain proactive relationships with landowners to secure and manage land access.
Advise the client on practical agricultural and land-related matters affecting project delivery.
Ensure contractors adhere to commitments made to landowners.
Manage and resolve landowner concerns or complaints.
Arrange and coordinate site visits, meetings, and records of condition.
Support compensation claim settlements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date stakeholder records.
Work within defined programme timelines to support efficient project delivery. Candidate Profile
We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate:
Strong knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs, with an understanding of how infrastructure schemes affect farming and land use.
Ideally, experience in soil management, drainage plans, and records of condition.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
Ambition and initiative, with a team-oriented approach.
Confidence managing relationships with landowners, contractors, and internal teams.
