Team Leader at Trenewydd
Salary: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Bank 0 hour contract
Shift Times: As/When needed in service
Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Trenewydd, situated in Brecon. The purpose-built service provides residential care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

Job Responsibilities
As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of person-centred care and supporting your team to uphold those standards in everything they do. This will include, but not limited to:
* Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
* Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
* Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
* Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation
Qualifications And Experience
* Experience working with older people in residential care
* You will have completed or working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)
* You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
* Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
