This is a brilliant opportunity if you’ve got a maths-related background (degree, tutoring experience, or even strong A-Level results) and want to explore teaching. The school provides excellent support, making it a great environment to gain classroom experience while you work towards qualified teacher status.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (resources and support provided)
* Supporting students to build confidence with problem-solving and numeracy
* Working closely with experienced teachers who’ll guide you through planning and classroom management
* Creating a positive and structured learning environment
What we’re looking for:
* A strong academic background in Maths (degree or equivalent desirable)
* Passion for education and inspiring young people
* Confidence in managing a classroom and clear communication skills
* Previous tutoring or classroom experience is a bonus, but not essential
