Paramedic Functional Assessor – Hybrid Role

Permanent Functional Assessor roles for HCPC registered Paramedics seeking weekday hours in a structured, non‑treatment assessment role. Full training provided. Full time and part time options available.
Overview
Salary: £40,850 + benefits. Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite at a Luton consultation centre. Fully remote working is not available.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. No nights. No weekends. No shift work.
Eligibility: HCPC registered Paramedic with a minimum of 1 year post‑registration experience. Right to Work in the UK required. Sponsorship is not available.
What you’ll do
* Complete structured functional assessments by telephone, video, or face to face
* Assess how physical and mental health conditions impact daily living and mobility
* Review medical evidence and supporting information
* Produce clear, factual reports for decision makers
* Manage your own caseload using clinical IT systems
What you’ll need
* HCPC registration as a Paramedic
* Minimum 1 year post HCPC registration experience
* Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
* Confident report writing and IT capability
* Ability to meet quality standards and deadlines
* Ability to attend onsite a minimum of 2 days per week
* Right to Work in the UK
Pay & benefits
* £40,850 starting salary
* Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year, subject to approval milestones and contract
* Up to 10% annual performance bonus based on quality and performance
