In this vital role, you’ll work closely with our Care at Home Co-ordinator and Organisers to ensure our service runs smoothly. You’ll support our incredible Home Carers by managing the scheduling system and matching Carers to service users in line with their individual care plans. What You’ll Be Doing Keeping our scheduling tool accurate and up to date so service users receive the care they need. Making thoughtful decisions about deploying Home Carers to meet complex needs. Acting as the first point of contact for service users and staff, offering support and guidance. Collaborating with a passionate team focused on high-quality, person-centred care. Handling unexpected changes, such as Carer absences, by finding quick solutions. Responding to care service availability requests and liaising with Carers and providers. Maintaining accurate records and following procedures if safety concerns arise. Preparing reports to help managers plan and improve service delivery. What We’re Looking For A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others. Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, empathetic manner. Confidence using digital tools (training provided if needed). Work Pattern This role operates on a rota basis with two options: 23.62 hours/week : Two weeks of early shifts (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) followed by two weeks of late shifts (3:00 PM–10:00 PM). Includes five shifts one week and two the next, with weekend coverage. 31 hours/week : Two weeks of early shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) followed by two weeks of late shifts (1:30 PM–10:00 PM). Four shifts per week, including weekends. Multiple positions are available. Additional Benefits 10% shift allowance paid in addition to your monthly salary. Requirements This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults and Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential.
