Responsible for the oversight and delivery of the SJPPS monthly management accounts and associated financial, regulatory and statutory reporting.
What you'll be doing:
* Delivery and ownership of the SJPPS monthly management accounts.
* Review, challenge and sign-off the monthly SJPPS controls pack.
* Provide senior management with relevant commentary as to the financial performance of the business on a monthly basis (variance to prior year & forecast)
* Own and develop the SJPPS monthly MI and forecasts (cash and accounting).
* Process improvement - drive for continued process improvement and efficiencies in the delivery of information and reporting.
* Statutory reporting - own and deliver the SJPPS statutory accounts and manage external audit queries.
* Regulatory reporting - oversight and delivery of relevant regulatory returns.
* Business partner with the Partner Finance, Corporate strategy and Treasury teams to ensure any financial reporting Impacts of their activities are fully understood and communicated.
* Intercompany champion - oversight of the Group intercompany balances and matrix
* Attendee of the Treasury Committee, keeping Financial reporting abreast of relevant Issues.

* SJP Partner Loans No.1 Ltd:
* Review and challenge the monthly management accounts and controls pack
* Statutory reporting - own and deliver the statutory accounts and manage external audit queries.
* Delivery and ownership of the monthly management and statutory accounts of minor entities within the Group as required.
* Ownership of the Group Partner loan and borrowing notes.
* Treasury - Carry out the responsibilities required of an appointed payment authoriser.
* Assist the wider finance team in ad-hoc tasks/project work as required.
Essential Criteria
* In depth knowledge of financial accounting and ability to understand and interpret financial information.
* Strong statutory accounting knowledge
* Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Must be a qualified accountant as recognised in the UK i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience of the financial services sector is desirable, in particular, familiarity with debt instruments and special purpose vehicles.
