We are searching for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to influence the lives of families and their young children aged 0-4. Together, we will ensure that every child receives the absolute best start in life while fostering family resilience through practical interventions, engaging activities, supportive groups, and unwavering assistance across our Flying Start Hubs in Blaenau Gwent.
Reporting relationships: This post would be reporting to the Flying Start Programme Manager / Flying Start Team Lead with delegated duties via designated Flying Start Health Visitors.

Responsibilities
* Collaborate with families with children aged 0-4 who are registered with the Flying Start Programme to enhance family resilience and support mental and physical health by delivering practical interventions, programmes, and assistance across various settings, including the home.
* Foster the social and emotional development of children by promoting positive parenting skills, providing early language support, and encouraging stimulating play activities to facilitate improvements in the child’s learning abilities.
* Engage with families to help children receive the best start in life and contribute to the overall Flying Start objectives in Blaenau Gwent.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Enthusiastic individuals who are eager to make a difference in the lives of children.
* Access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement of the role.
* This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive pre-employment screening process will be undertaken which will include an Enhanced Disclosure with the Child & Adult Barred List.
