Job Summary
Aire Valley Surgery and Guiseley & Yeadon Medical Practice are now working collaboratively to serve a population of patients in Rawdon, Guiseley and Yeadon of circa 26,000. Operating from 4 sites, we are looking to expand our team of GPs. We have two vacancies to work at our Guiseley & Yeadon Medical Practice. Each GP will work 4 sessions (2 days) per week, covering one half‑day of on‑call each week on average. The roles are primarily based at the Guiseley & Yeadon Medical Practice site in Yeadon – Yeadon Health Centre.

Guiseley site: 10 Netherfield Road, Guiseley, Leeds, LS20 9HE.
We serve a diverse local community across our two sites and have recently been integrated into the Aire Valley Surgery Team. We are a training practice with a multidisciplinary team including GPs, nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, a physician associate and experienced administrative staff. We use SystmOne and Accurx to deliver efficient, patient‑centred care through a total triage model.
Job Description
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic GP to join us for 4 sessions per week, including one half‑day of on‑call each week as part of our shared rota. This role includes working on a Friday and one other day (Tuesday or Thursday). You will be supported by a collaborative clinical and administrative team and have opportunities to contribute to teaching, quality improvement, and wider practice development.

Qualifications
Essential:
* Primary Medical Qualification (e.g. MBChB, MBBS or equivalent) recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC).
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
* Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice (or equivalent if trained abroad).
* Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List (or eligibility to join before start date).
* Right to work in the UK.
* Evidence of up‑to‑date revalidation and appraisal (if already practising).
* Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Desirable:
* Experience using SystmOne and Accurx.
* Postgraduate qualifications such as MRCGP.
* Experience in teaching or supervising students/trainees.
* Additional clinical interests or specialist skills (e.g. dermatology, minor surgery, women’s health, mental health).
* Leadership, quality improvement, or research experience.
