Purchasing Specialist - Generator Manufacturer:
About the Company: My client is a leading global manufacturer of Generators, with both a standard product and major product range between 750 KVA – 4000 KVA.
About the Role: A requirement has been made to recruit a first-class Procurement Specialist to oversee technical project based purchasing across the EMEA region. The role is an international project purchasing role and is responsible for managing strategic product and service families linked to specific projects. The objective is to secure supply chains, optimise costs, and ensure overall purchasing performance in a demanding international environment.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee technical project based purchasing across the EMEA region.
* Manage strategic product and service families linked to specific projects.
* Secure supply chains and optimise costs.
* Ensure overall purchasing performance in a demanding international environment.
Qualifications:
* Purchasing or supply chain training with proven experience (5 -10 years minimum) in International technical purchasing or industrial projects.
* Ideally, this will be in a Power Generation related sector.
Required Skills:
* Proficiency in purchasing tools (ERP, e-sourcing) and negotiation techniques.
* Professional English required, French would be a plus.
* Analytical skills, rigor, autonomy and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in project mode and manage priorities.
* Located in the UK.
Pay range and compensation package: Salary: £60,000 Basic plus 10% Annual Bonus, healthcare + pension.
