Description

JOB TITLE: Treasury Manager

LOCATION(S): Leeds

SALARY: £68,202 - £75,780

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in our Leeds office

About this opportunity

At Lloyds Banking Group we’re driven by a clear purpose - to help Britain Recover & Prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are passionate about making a difference to customers, businesses, and communities.

An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen to join the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) team within Group Corporate Treasury (GCT) in Leeds.

The Treasury Manager forms an important part of a broader FTP team focusing on the operational side of the FTP reporting and planning processes, and will be responsible for the ownership and maintenance of key FTP processes and EUCs. This is a high-profile internal facing area of GCT given the material impact FTP has on business performance and NII. There is also significant scope for the right candidate to shape and develop their role.

This is a great hands-on role and would suit a finance specialist looking to get involved in this key function within GCT. It will offer the opportunity to build on existing experience and knowledge of funds transfer pricing and the banking book balance sheet with the chance to develop strong links between the business and GCT. (Sales Pitch one liner question)

Day to day you’ll be;

1. Supporting monthly management reporting, stress testing and planning processes
2. Supporting senior partners and balance sheet optimisation activities
3. Driving forward the development of FTP models and operational FTP processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
4. Working with business partners to identify and implement operational efficiencies for both FTP led changes and inbound changes
5. Maintaining controls and documentation for FTP processes
6. Supporting inbound change impacting FTP processes and reporting

We’re on an exciting journey and there couldn’t be a better time to join us. The investments we’re making in our people, data, and technology are leading to innovative projects, fresh possibilities, and countless new ways for our people to work, learn, and thrive.

What you’ll need

7. Strong system skills and advanced Excel skills
8. Strong analytical skills coupled with knowledge/experience of advanced modelling techniques
9. Ability to translate complex models and MI into a simple commercial story
10. An understanding of Funds Transfer Pricing methodologies and knowledge of Treasury
11. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, ability to deal with colleagues at all levels and able to explain complex matters in a simple way.
