Role: Finance & Governance Administrator

Hours: Full time (Mon Fri), 9am 5pm
This is a great opportunity to join a growing business within a varied role, where you will play a key part of ensuring financial & governance compliance with operating procedures as well as providing administrative support to Partners, Project Leaders and the Corporate Finance Manager.

As the Finance & Governance Administrator, you will be primarily working under the guidance of the Corporate Finance Manager, and will also have regular opportunities to provide admin support to Partners and Project Leaders. The ideal candidate will be well organised, have a keen eye for detail, demonstrate a keen appetite to learn, and enjoy having a variety of tasks throughout the day.
The ideal candidate would have;
· Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
· Experience in finance administration.
· Experience of working with Accounting software packages (ideally Sage Intacct, but not essential as full training will be provided).
· Experience dealing with companies house, both in company set up and filings.
· Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Excellent organisational skills.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Take pride in their work.
Under the support and guidance of the Corporate Finance Manager, primary tasks will include but not limited to;
Maintain financial records using Sage Intacct, including the creation of Purchase Orders, and processing of invoices & expenses.
Assist with the reconciliation of bank accounts, supplier accounts, and VAT accounts.
Companies house filings and company set up.
Liaison with consultants (suppliers), including instructing them once chosen.
Maintaining compliance with procedural guidance notes.
Administrative support for the in-house teams.
Data gathering and input into internal software.
Promotion agreement analysis (full training will be given) and extraction of critical data and dates.
Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
Creating and maintaining filing and other office systems.
