Hours - Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, 10am to 3pm
Holiday – 22 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) after 5 years’ service increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)
Location – office based in Letchworth

TC East in Letchworth are looking for a Reception and Support Assistant on a part time basis to join the team.
The role is key in providing a welcoming first point of contact for visitors and callers, while delivering efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations across the business reporting directly to the Senior Operations and Finance Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, approachable, and comfortable working in a dynamic office environment.
Key responsibilities of a Reception and Support Assistant will include:
Reception duties
Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to basic enquires.
Maintain a tidy and organised reception area and client meeting rooms.
Liaise with the main building receptionist for visitors, clients, car parking and deliveries.
Administrative Support
Assist with general office administration including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
Support with maintaining and ordering office supplies.
Support meeting preparations including booking rooms and ensuring adequate equipment.
Support with diary management as required.
Support in maintaining clients’ books and records and organising returns.
Support with booking travel, accommodation, meetings and other events.
Facilities & H&S: Serve as a point of contact for facilities issues, support maintenance coordination, and assist in health & safety compliance activities.
Support with ad hoc tasks as and when necessary.
Provide cover for annual leave as required.
Previous experience in reception, administrative, or client facing roles.
Handling telephone system, outlook diaries and Microsoft Teams.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
