Conference and Banqueting Manager

Please take a look at our new website for an overview of the hotel. We are proud to present our Meadow Restaurant, Bar and Terrace boasting with a Pizza oven and BBQ along with 158 bedrooms, 4 x conference rooms and large Banqueting hall.

We are looking for an energetic person to join our team and assist with the execution of conference and banqueting functions. Ideally you will come from a hotel background and will be familiar with setting up conference rooms and hosting large events whilst portraying a friendly smile, leading your team and ensuring that our guests receive excellent customer service.

Requirements:

· You will be a well-groomed, organised individual

· Be able to multitask and think on your feet

· Good written and verbal English is required for this role

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Outgoing personality

· Commitment towards delivering first class service at all times

· Ability to lead and support a team in a professional manner

· Remain calm and composed under pressure whilst dealing with guests and staff alike

· Right to work and live in the UK

· Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative

Responsibilities:

· As Conference and Banqueting Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of Conferences and Banqueting events within the hotel.

· Continually focusing on maintaining hotel standards and excellent customer

service

· To be fully knowledgeable of all menus, drinks lists, cashiering procedures, hotel policies and brand standards

· Support, lead and develop Food and Beverage Assistants who will be supporting you with the day to day running of the conferences and events ensuring that our clients are greeted and treated with a smile and that their needs and expectations are met and exceeded.

· Assist in Restaurant and Bar during quite times on the conference side.
