Description
As aHSEQ Advisor, you will be part of a central HSEQ Team withresponsibility for one of our regional contracts reporting to theSenior HSEQ Advisor.
Youwill be responsible for promoting compliance throughout thebusiness and for escalating all issues identified. You will also beresponsible for ensuring employees are made aware of issues raisedand for promoting document control and systemcompliance.
KeyResponsibilities
We are looking forsomeone to:
* Ensure that safety andcompliance standards are maintained, and any issues are addressedimmediately
* Complete verification inspections– follow up on closure of findings/non-conformances
* Support the accident and incident investigations, andpromote good quality reporting and closure
* Complete and encourage unsafe acts/conditions andpositive intervention reporting
* Complete aweekly and monthly report on achievements and issuesidentified
* Communicate and drive an efficientclose out of corrective actions raised by the Compliance Departmentand external auditors
* CompileAccident/Incident Stats for the contracts your support and attendclient meetings
* Work with the wideroperational team to maintain strong relationships and improveprocesses/systems where possible
* Drive thecorrect and safe behaviours out on-site and within theoffice
* Support the contract on training andcompetency requirements, ensuring that the contracts are achievingthe highest standards of training compliance
* You will assist the Quality Assurance Leadwithaccreditations and provide support where required, with standards,including but not limited to ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001etc
* Support the business with delivering themilestone and strategy plan on contract
* Evolvewithin the business and be willing to learn more about the products/ services that we provide.
Skills, Knowledge andExpertise
* H&Squalification e.g. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
* Experience of having worked in the Utilities orConstruction sectors (desirable)
* Full UKDriving License
