A thoughtful and engaging Religious Education Teacher is required to join an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield for a permanent position commencing in September. Responsibilities
* Plan prepare and deliver engaging Religious Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Prepare students effectively for GCSE Religious Studies examinations ensuring a comprehensive understanding of different faiths and philosophical viewpoints.
* Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages respectful dialogue and critical analysis of religious and ethical issues.
* Assess and monitor student progress in Religious Education providing insightful feedback to support their understanding and personal reflection.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Education or Theology.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
* A strong academic background in religious studies and a passion for exploring different belief systems and ethical frameworks.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills capable of leading sensitive and engaging discussions with students.
