Your new role
As a Graduate or Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will be involved in a wide range of site investigation and assessment projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Phase 1 and Phase 2 geo-environmental assessments.
* Conducting site walkovers, soil and groundwater sampling, and supervising ground investigations.
* Assisting in the preparation of factual and interpretative reports.
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulators.
* Contributing to risk assessments and remediation strategies.
* Working closely with senior consultants and project managers to deliver high-quality technical outputs.
You'll be based in Hertfordshire, with occasional travel to sites across the UK.
What you'll need to succeed
* A relevant degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science, or Physical Geography.
* Either recent graduation or up to 1-2 years of experience in geo-environmental consultancy.
* A good understanding of contaminated land and/or geotechnical principles.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
* A full UK driving licence, vehicle and willingness to travel to site locations.
