Link3 Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Room Leader and qualified Early Years Practitioners (part-time or full-time) to join a dynamic team located in BS20 Portishead.

These positions offer a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-quality early years environment that values professionalism, development, and care.

Room Leader Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of Early Years Practitioners within a designated room
2. Design and implement a high-quality curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
3. Monitor and maintain exceptional standards of care, education, and safeguarding
4. Support and mentor team members, contributing to ongoing professional development
5. Act as Deputy in the absence of the Nursery Manager
6. Foster positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/carers

Essential Criteria:

7. Minimum Level 4 qualification in Early Years or a related field
8. At least two years leadership experience in an early years setting
9. Comprehensive understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
10. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
11. Enhanced DBS and satisfactory professional references

Early Years Practitioner Key Responsibilities

12. Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
13. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment to support children's learning and wellbeing
14. Contribute to observations, assessments, and progress tracking for individual children
15. Build and maintain effective relationships with families and team members
16. Attend to children s personal care needs with sensitivity and high hygiene standards

Essential Criteria:

17. Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
18. Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
19. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
20. Commitment to providing outstanding early years care and education
21. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
