Quantity Surveyor – Construction | Permanent | West Cornwall
We’re seeking a skilled and commercially savvy Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established team delivering a variety of construction projects across the region. This role plays a pivotal part in the commercial success of each project, from procurement and budgeting to reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on budgeting, procurement, and cost management across construction projects
Build and manage relationships within a robust supply chain
Prepare financial reports and track project performance, including CVRs
Support sustainability and social value initiatives, including alignment with frameworks
Liaise with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
Provide oversight on contractual matters and assist with dispute resolution when required
What We’re Looking For:
Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (degree or equivalent)
Membership or working towards RICS (or similar professional body)
Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and construction legislation
Strong commercial acumen and analytical reporting skills
Understanding of sustainable procurement and social value frameworks
Familiarity with ISO-certified management systems is a plus
