Executive Director, HCP Marketing (US)
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Executive Director of HCP Marketing will be responsible for leading all HCP facing marketing activities for a major commercial drug for a fast-growing biotech.
This role will lead a small team and be responsible for the development and execution of the HCP marketing strategy and drive brand initiatives such as brand positioning and messaging, segmentation and targeting, promotional, educational and all other brand-related activities. A strong experience and understanding of digital/omnichannel marketing will be important. This role will collaborate closely with digital marketing, sales, business insights and other teams to drive results. The role will oversee and maximize the overall marketing budget with a focus on revenue-generating activities.
Responsibilities:
* Drive and develop the HCP strategic and tactical plans in collaboration with market access, patient services, commercial operations and business insights
* Where appropriate, coordinate the efforts with medical affairs, field medical personnel as well as TLL team
* Own the development of key HCP facing tactics, including digital and omnichannel (i.e. brand.com, social media, CRM strategy)
* Manage agency partners and vendors on market research efforts, creation of marketing materials, materials reviews and budget adherence
* Interact with the KOL and HCP community and other relevant disease area stakeholders
* Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to commercial and corporate objectives
* Recruit, hire, and develop best-in-class marketing talent
* Manage and coach direct report(s)
Qualifications:
* BS degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred with 10+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical brand marketing role
* Experience developing and successfully executing successful HCP campaigns that change behavior and improve patient care
* Experience in digital/omnichannel HCP campaigns and CRM strategy
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Team player that can also independently drive projects to completion
* Solutions-oriented, strong analytical and presentation skills
* Ability to champion change and drive innovative thinking
* Ability to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities
* Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards
* Strong communicator to all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
* Experience in developing and coaching direct reports to successful outcomes
* Strong and empathetic leadership skills
* 30% travel
