Account Manager - Grantham/Hybrid - Salary: £30k – £35k per annum, depending on experience + Company car or car allowance, hybrid working, performance-related bonus scheme

The UK Account Manager will be responsible for managing long-standing customer relationships, ensuring continued satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities within each account.
With regular travel across the UK and a hybrid working arrangement, this role combines autonomy, variety and the opportunity to directly influence revenue and retention.
Account Manager Key Responsibilities -
* Manage and develop existing customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and support
* Conduct regular on-site visits to client locations across the UK (3 days per week travel expected)
* Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within current accounts
* Prepare technical proposals and tailored quotations aligned to customer requirements
* Provide product advice, drawing on engineering knowledge to recommend solutions
* Collaborate with internal teams to support order processing and delivery tracking
* Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and generate account activity reports
* Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives as needed
What We're Looking For -
* Proven experience in account management or sales engineering within the construction or engineering sectors
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
* Technical aptitude, ideally with experience reading technical drawings or working with engineered products
* Confident managing the full sales process from quotation to post-sale support
* Highly organised and proactive, with excellent time management skills
* Comfortable working independently on the road and collaboratively as part of a wider team
* Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
* Full UK driving licence is essential
