Seven Social Care is recruiting a Child Protection Social Worker for their service in Gedling.
£35 per hour.
Initial 3 month contract with the potential of extension.
Job Purpose:
Experienced social worker required in the district child protection team in Gedling, Nottinghamshire.
Duties:
You will need experience of progressing Child-in-Need and Child Protection plans, and undertaking child and parenting assessments. Previous experience of Court Work is also required.
Nottinghamshire County Council are committed to developing and supporting their workforce and offer a wide range of good quality training and opportunities.
In addition, social work practice is supported through social work support officers and social work assistants
Alleviating administrative and support tasks for social workers which enables them to progress case work and focus on the social work role.
Flexible working arrangements allow for some home working.
Applicant Requirements:
* Qualifications: Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
* Compliance: Up to date SWE registration, Passport and DBS.
* Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
* Hours: 37 hours p/w.
