Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployments (including use of version control, metadata APIs, and deployment automation tools). Your responsibilities: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition) Experience coordinating Salesforce environments as part of complex release schedules. Proven ability to plan and execute sandbox refreshes and manage environment data strategies. Strong understanding of environment types and their use cases, including scratch orgs, sandboxes, and production. Demonstrable understanding of the differences between scratch orgs, sandboxes, and production environments, with knowledge to support appropriate release and testing strategies. Ability to manage challenging stakeholders and push back on demands to enter sandbox environments, calling out risks and mitigations where necessary Strong experience in improving, documenting and monitoring release cycles Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, AutoRABIT). Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition) Release Governance & Planning Manage and maintain the Salesforce release calendar across business units, ensuring alignment with broader bank-wide change governance. Lead release planning and readiness meetings, ensuring full visibility and traceability of changes. Partner with Change Management to ensure releases meet all internal control and compliance obligations. Co-ordination of resources required to execute releases Deployment Execution Own the end-to-end deployment process across Salesforce environments (e.g. SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, Production). Coordinate deployment tasks using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Copado, or Gearset) to promote code, metadata, and configuration changes. Oversee sandbox refresh planning and data masking activities in line with GDPR and bank data security standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the central point of contact for development teams, business leads, testers, and platform owners during releases. Provide regular updates on release status, risks, and post-deployment verification activities to senior stakeholders and governance boards. Risk & Quality Control Ensure all releases follow bank policy, including change records, access control, rollback procedures, and audit trails. Support internal and external audits by providing relevant evidence on deployments, approvals, and controls. Continuous Improvement Champion DevOps and automation best practices across the Salesforce delivery lifecycle. Identify opportunities to streamline release processes, improve testing efficiency, and reduce manual interventions. Monitor release metrics and root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues. Essential Skills & Experience: Strong background in Salesforce release management within regulated environments (preferably financial services or banking). Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployments (including use of version control, metadata APIs, and deployment automation tools). Working knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and ITIL change control frameworks. Solid understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and FCA compliance as it relates to technology delivery. Excellent coordination and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to interface with governance boards and technology leadership. Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: (As applicable) Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder Certification. Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling (e.g. GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset). Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, and Confluence. ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience in change and release management in a banking context.
