We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and ambitious individual to join our Strategic Accounts Team at Nationwide Platforms.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will manage approximately Construction customer accounts nationally, ideally based in the South East region.

This role involves a 60/40 split between customer account management and developing new business opportunities across the UK. You should have a successful track record managing, developing, and retaining large Construction accounts and be skilled in developing new business streams.

You must have experience working with customers within the Construction sector, managing high-profile, large accounts.

This role offers scope and potential, making it a great opportunity for the right candidate!

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary with a 30% OTE bonus, car/car allowance, pension, BUPA medical, life assurance, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Location: Ideally in the South East, with regular UK travel required. Our head office is in Lutterworth, LE17 4PN.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of Strategic Accounts for long-term, profitable growth and strategic opportunities.
2. Identify and develop new revenue streams from a pre-approved portfolio of opportunities, achieving financial targets.
3. Create detailed account plans with customers, aligning strategies with business objectives.
4. Maintain a pipeline of opportunities, assist in tendering, and forecast future revenue.
5. Develop strong customer relationships, understand sector requirements, and promote added value products/services.
6. Ensure CRM records are up-to-date, conduct regular customer visits, and seek repeat business.


Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

1. Experience managing Strategic Accounts within Construction, with a record of growth and retention.
2. Consultative and strategic selling skills, exceeding sales targets.
3. Financial and commercial acumen, capable of developing winning proposals.
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
5. Results-driven, passionate, persistent, and proactive.
6. Confident, ambitious, and initiative-taker.
7. IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
8. Ability to build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
9. Strong analytical skills for assessing customer data and KPIs.
