Secure Mental Health Care for Lancashire and South Cumbria is provided at Guild Lodge, Whittingham. The service, founded in 1999, has expanded and currently offers inpatient and community services with 164 beds.

Caring for adults within Medium and Low Security and Step Down environments.
Key responsibilities
* Establish effective systems and processes to support day‑to‑day operational management and delivery of forensic inpatient services.
* Ensure arrangements meet local, corporate and operational service requirements, working closely with senior management, clinical staff and administrative clerical staff.
* Support, develop and implement systems to improve performance and assurance in service delivery.
* Develop, implement and monitor improved systems for key work areas, including estate and environment factors and physical and procedural security standards in line with efficient governance structures.
