Job Description
As this is a term-time, part-time post, the salary will be pro-rata to the hours worked.
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday 8.45am - 3.00pm (45 minutes unpaid break each day).
Reporting directly to the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of a comprehensive clerical and administration service supporting the operations of Goldenhill Primary School.
You will ensure the smooth running of the school office and provide a welcoming and efficient reception service, responding to all enquiries via telephone or from visitors. Additionally, you will manage and maintain school data, ensuring all information is up to date and accurately recorded on computerised systems.
General office duties will include photocopying, filing, document preparation, mail recording/distribution, assisting with transport and trips/outings arrangements, and routine cash handling duties such as receiving and recording payments for school activities and uniforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent organisational and communication skills are required.
Requirements
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer is made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities
