THE BUSINESS
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded domestic abuse charity dedicated to providing immediate support, long-term recovery services, and preventative education across South Tyneside and the wider North East. They are at a critical juncture of planned growth and service development, requiring a hands-on, execution-focused administrator to translate their strategic vision into operational reality
THE ROLE
10. Support the CEO and Board of Trustees with governance administration.
11. Work with CEO and external communications support team to produce our quarterly newsletter.
12. Lead employment checks, onboarding/offboarding, and recruitment administration.
13. Maintain accurate organisational records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
14. To arrange meetings and maintain diaries, including finding available dates from all attendees, arranging venues, book facilities/equipment and refreshments. This includes regular meetings as well as larger scale workshops and events.
15. Taking telephone calls using company protocols and use initiative to resolve issues for callers.
16. In the performance of the duties outlined in this job description, the post-holder may have access to confidential information relating to clients, their families and their perpetrators, company staff and other stakeholders. They may also have access to information relating to the charity as a business organisation. All such information from any source is to be regarded as strictly confidential.

THE PERSON
18. Communication and relationship building
19. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
20. Experience in executive-level administration support
21. Proficient in Microsoft office tools
22. Driving licence would be essential for this role
23. Experience with senior level administration and or HR processes.
24. Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
25. Excellent written and verbal communication
