I’m currently working with a leading international law firm looking to hire a Procurement Lawyer to join its highly regarded Commercial team in London on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer specialising in procurement law to join a collaborative and internationally connected practice advising on complex procurement projects across a range of major sectors.
The Role
You will work as part of a large commercial practice supporting a growing procurement capability across the firm. The work will focus primarily on non-contentious procurement matters, with exposure to complex and often cross-border projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising clients on a broad range of public procurement matters and regulatory frameworks
* Supporting buy-side procurement projects for major organisations
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating procurement documentation and commercial agreements
* Advising on procurement processes, compliance and strategic project structuring
* Supporting on international procurement matters and multi-jurisdictional projects
* Collaborating with lawyers across commercial, technology, data protection and competition teams
* Assisting with client relationship management and business development initiatives
Candidate Profile
* Strong experience working on procurement law matters within private practice
* Solid understanding of public procurement law and its practical application
* Experience advising on procurement projects across sectors such as technology, energy, healthcare, transport, aviation or defence
* Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
* Ability to manage matters independently while working within a collaborative team environment
* Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
