EYFS Teaching Assistant
EYFS Teaching Assistant- Atherton, M46
Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school located in Atherton (M46), which is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team!
This is a full-time, long-term temporary role supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a particular focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role is full-time and working Monday to Friday and the working hours are 08:30am- 15:30pm.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment. You will provide tailored support to SEND pupils, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, ensuring they remain engaged and make progress in line with their learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the class teacher and work collaboratively with support staff
2. Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEND pupils
3. Promote a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
4. Help pupils stay on task and achieve their learning goals
Requirements:
5. EYFS and SEND experience (desirable)
6. Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
7. Passion for supporting children with additional needs
8. Recent and relevant experience working with children within the past two years
9. Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
10. Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
11. Must be reliable and punctual
