Transport Operations Coordinator
Temporary - 8 weeks
Northampton - Hybrid
£14.42 per hour + holiday pay
We are looking for a proactive Transport Operations Coordinator, who is available on a temporary basis for 8 weeks to help manage day-to-day transport activity, ensuring accurate tracking, strong customer service and compliant documentation. This is a temporary assignment with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor shipments and manage delivery status
* Liaise with carriers to resolve delays and service issues
* Book collections and deliveries and keep customers informed
* Prepare and manage trip documentation (CMR, customs, packing lists)
* Support the wider team, providing cover and sharing information
About You
* Experience in transport, logistics or operations
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with customers and suppliers
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Good IT and system skills
