Job Specification For: Technical Administrator Ref: VR/05167 Inspire are recruiting for a technical administrator to work for a growing engineering company based in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who wants to move into a role with an engineering bias or for someone with technical admin experience who wants to progress. Duties to include: * * Maintain and update technical and production spreadsheets (e.g. BOMs, production schedules, order trackers) using Excel functionality * Support document control - manage revisions of technical drawings, manuals, datasheets, and production records * Input and manage data within the ERP * Book incoming deliveries and match delivery notes against purchase orders * Print shipping and product labels and assist with preparing shipments * Support picking and packing of orders when needed - must be comfortable working in a light industrial environment. * Provide day-to-day admin support to the Technical Manager, helping prioritise tasks, chasing suppliers/customers, and ensuring records are up to date. To apply for this role you will need: * * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Previous administration experience and the use of an ERP system * Basic understanding of technical drawings or CAD or interest in learning. * Ability to work independently and as part of a small, multi-skilled team. * High attention to detail, particularly with data entry and documentation.
