HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT 1 YEAR FIXED TERM MATERNITY CONTRACT TO START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE 40 hours per week (shift work including mornings, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays). £27,040 per annum pro rata About Phyllis Court Club Phyllis Court is a private members club situated in a grand riverside manor, set in 18 acres of land with 17 guest bedrooms on the River Thames in Henley-On-Thames and spectacular views over the river & the countryside beyond. The Role: Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the Club, including guest bedrooms, public areas and the Fitness Centre. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, teamwork and a positive attitude are essential. Working Pattern: This role operates on rota basis and includes a mixture of early and late shifts, including weekends and Bank holidays. Typical shifts are 7:00am-3:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm. Responsibilities will include Clean public areas, toilets and back-of-house areas to a high standard Service and prepare guest bedrooms, including departure cleans Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Fitness Centre Restock amenities and ensure all areas are well presented at all times Report any maintenance issues, damages or missing items Work collaboratively with your team to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard Follow all health & safety procedures and safe working practices Skills and experience Exceptional customer service skills A positive, friendly and professional attitude Have an eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness Clear communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and use initiative Experience in a similar role is desirable but full training will be given on the job.
