Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and manage HSE practices across our renewable energy projects. You will ensure compliance with UK legislation, drive a strong safety culture, and support safe project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain HSE policies and procedures
* Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and CDM Regulations
* Conduct risk assessments and review RAMS
* Carry out site audits and inspections
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
* Deliver training, inductions, and toolbox talks
* Liaise with the Health and Safety Executive and internal teams
Requirements
* Experience in a Health & Safety role (construction, utilities, or renewables preferred)
* Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation
* NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma desirable)
* Membership of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (preferred)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
