Summary
We are seeking a skilled sous chef to join our team in Ripon. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of service and food quality, contributing to our mission of delivering an exceptional pub experience.
Responsibilities
* Assist and lead our daily operations to ensure smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
* Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Assist in menu planning and food preparation to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
* Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives that improve service efficiency.
* Uphold the pub's values by providing excellent hospitality at all times.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
* Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and customers alike.
* Experience in food preparation and cooking is preferred.
* Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service principles.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
