Birchwood Group is a forward-looking company with retail stores, workshops and facilities based across the south coast of Sussex and Hampshire.
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor with an outgoing professional manner who copes well under pressure, is a true service professional, an excellent communicator and has the skills to influence others to succeed.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
· Efficiency and utilisation of technicians,
· Monitoring workshop performance to maintain standards.
· Ensure all work hours expended have been documented.
· Administration is completed to an accurate standard.
· Upsell to customers when appropriate
· Hit both personal and department targets.
· Maintaining MOT site standards using MOT management software. (MOT site manager
· Arranging routine maintenance of equipment including calibrations
· Carry out 1-1's with technicians.
· Carrying out reviews with apprentices and with appropriate colleges.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
· Hold a full UK driving licence
· Strong organisational and prioritisation skills,
· Ability to multi-task and switch between tasks
· Proven excellence as a team player who offers help and support to others
· Willingness to learn and keep up to date with product and technical information
· Thrives in a high-pressured environment
Package:
· Salary: £36,000 + bonus (£42,000)
· Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00
Saturday 07:00 to 12:00 (1 in 3 – paid as overtime)
· Holiday: 22 days per year + bank holidays
