Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (Enhanced).
About the role
It is an exciting and transformational time working with the Hertfordshire and West Essex NHS ICB. Sonic Healthcare UK will be taking on the management of Phlebotomy and Pathology Laboratories in the geography including a phlebotomy cohort of circa 150 Phlebotomists.
We have a part time phlebotomy position available at ENHT. Primarily you will be working at HCH Hospital but may be asked to travel to other locations. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working individuals. Your duties will include taking blood samples from patients in a Outpatient setting and in Doctors surgeries. You will also be required to work weekends on a rota.
Experience not essential as training will be given
Car drivers essential to these roles.
Key duties
* To be a valued member of a motivated team with a patient care focus. To ensure professional and technical standards are maintained within the services at all times.
* Taking blood samples from patients in Outpatients and Surgeries/clinics for Lab analysis.
* To follow department SOPs and best practice at all times.
