Filtration Plant Operator
12 - 14 month fixed term contract
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm (alternated weekly)
Salary: £37,619 per annum, rising to £39,599 per annum after successful completion of 3-month probation.
The role
Are you an experienced within manufacturing processes and looking for your next challenge? Do you want to work with the market leader in banknote production?
De La Rue are currently looking to recruit a Filtration Plant Operator for our site near Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Pre-Press Manager, you will be required to support operations by ensuring the smooth running of our Effluent Plant area.
The role will also include but not limited to;
* Ensuring there are no production delays resulting from unavailability of solution
* Ensuring that the Quality of solution is to standard required
* Make our Print team aware of any breakdowns in time to move to back up equipment to ensure a smooth operation
* Be proactive in monitoring the levels and equipment ensuring efficient running and optimum availability
* Making sure to correct procedures ensure outputs meet required standards
* Ensuring that our recycled water is to correct quality and any solutions are discharged to drains comply with Local Authority requirements
* Ensure that all solid waste disposed of in accordance with legislative requirements
* Responsible for ensuring that the Effluent Plant is operated in the correct and safe procedure
* Working with our Engineering team to flag and report any maintenance or breakdown issues
