The Role
This is a hands-on, senior-level position where you will take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, working across the full lifecycle from concept through to installation.
You’ll be operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while managing up to 10–15 projects at various stages.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing complex mechanical systems and assemblies
* Developing and refining hydraulic systems
* Working closely with electrical engineers on control systems integration
* Producing detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
* Managing projects from concept through to installation
* Supporting fabrication and providing input during on-site installation
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
* Driving continuous improvement and engineering excellence
What We’re Looking For
* 10–15 years’ experience in mechanical design within complex industrial environments
* Background in heavy industry, structural engineering, or moving mechanical systems
* Strong understanding of:
o Hydraulics
o Automation and machinery
o Control systems
* Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
* Hands-on, practical engineering mindset
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD preferred
* Stable career history with solid tenure in previous roles (typically 3–4 years+)
