Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Records Officer based at Ailsa Hospital.

What You Will Do

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the South Ayrshire H&SCP Business Support Team for a highly motivated Medical Records Officer. This will support service delivery to the patients within Mental Health Services for South Ayrshire within a community setting. You will provide the area with accurate patient related data through the constant and continual retrieval and input of data through the Patient Management System. The post holder will work closely with secretarial and clinical staff across the organisation to act as the first point of contact for enquiries, often dealing with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job

SVQ Level II in Administration. High standard of literacy. Good numerical skills and typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. Experience of using patient management system (PMS - Trakcare) and Carepartner is an advantage. Excellent communication skills verbal and written. The post is primarily based at Ailsa Campus, however at times the candidate may be asked to attend Arrol Park Resource Centre to cover periods of leave and support service delivery.

22.5 hours per week

A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
