We are looking for dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to undertake the role of Assistant Customer Support Services Manager.
The successful applicant will provide assistance to the Customer Support Services Manager in the setting up and ongoing management of Domestic / Housekeeping, Linen, Laundry, Waste, Material Management Services in all Forth Valley Community hospitals and health centre's ensuring optimum standards of service are provided contributing to the enhancement of patient care and environmental standards in accordance with the NHS Scotland's National Cleaning Services specification.
Be involved in the continuing monitoring of the domestic and housekeeping services within Forth Valley and involvement with the Board representative for the PPP contractors at Forth Valley Royal to ensure that a pleasant, safe and clean environment is provided for patients, visitors and staff that will play a key role in reducing the risk of Healthcare Associated Infection.
Provide day to day management of the Domestic services including Domestic Supervisory Team and Domestic Staff within community sites in line with NHS Forth Valley policies and procedures including Payroll authorisations, absence management, training and development, recruitment and first line grievance and / or disciplinary matters
You will require to be self motivated, conscientious and must be flexible, having the ability to work with minimum supervision. The successful Candidate will have significant management experience, supported with Practical People Management experience, with the ability & confidence to lead a large workforce. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this post.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
