Head of Assets - Hampshire Rate: Up to £593.30 PAYE - £750.00 Umbrella/LTD (Per Day) Contract: Temporary We are currently working on behalf of a respected Local Authority in Hampshire to appoint an experienced Interim Head of Assets to lead the strategic and operational management of the Council’s Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and General Fund asset portfolio. This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for an accomplished asset management professional with extensive experience across housing assets, property compliance, repairs and maintenance, and long-term investment planning within a local authority or regulated housing environment. Reporting into the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will provide strategic oversight of the Council’s housing and corporate property assets, ensuring the portfolio is maintained, optimised, and fully compliant with all legislative and regulatory requirements, including the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023 and ROSH standards. The role will lead the Property and Repairs Service, driving service improvement, asset performance, compliance, customer satisfaction, and long-term financial sustainability across both the HRA and General Fund portfolios.
