Job Title: Specialist Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Behaviour Support ‍
Location: Bradford
Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday) Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate

Make a real difference in one child’s school journey

We’re looking for a calm, committed, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a primary pupil in Bradford who needs support managing challenging behaviour. This is a chance to be that steady, trusted adult who helps a child feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.

What you’ll be doing:

* Providing consistent, positive support in and out of the classroom
* Using de-escalation strategies and a calm approach to help manage behaviour
* Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider staff team
* Building trust and routine so the child can thrive in school life

What we’re looking for:

* Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour or SEND
* A patient, resilient nature (with a good sense of humour helps too!)
* Confidence working as part of a team but able to take initiative 1:1
* A commitment to making every day a fresh start for the pupil you support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
