To support the weekly operational activities in/outbound, leading the teams to a safe, efficient and effective working environment, being a liaison between S&S, planning and contractors..

Duties and responsibilities:
20. Effective line management of shift leads and MTOs
21. Proactively contribute to achieving performance and operational targets for each shift, safety, quality, service, absence
22. Ensure health and safety standards on site are always adhered to
23. Create and deliver effective and engaging briefings
24. Manage inventory control using scan guns, tablets, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
25. Establish priorities, communicate, and escalate them effectively
26. Be a presence in the warehouse, and lead by example with a safety-first approach
27. Management and upkeep of the payroll system; Oracle/Kronos
28. Assigning safety roles for the day and ensuring communication boards are up to date
29. Collating data for senior management and the client and communicating this when requested
30. Ensuring operational activities are executed right first time and training colleagues to continuously improve
31. Contributing, mentoring, and driving team development
Experience, Skills, and Attributes
32. Experience with Microsoft Applications
33. Previous warehouse experience is essential
34. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems beneficial
35. Line management experience
36. Superb communicator, target driven and highly motivated
37. MHE experience desirable
38. Driving license desirable
